The parking lot entrance from 10th street to the east parking lots of the Harold Hamm Oklahoma Diabetes Center building will have street utility construction starting tomorrow, Tuesday, June 23rd, and continuing until Friday, June 26th.
Construction workers will be blocking off the area and flagging traffic.
Parkers will still be able to enter the east parking lots from Philips street.

Construction of the OU Surgery Center is  scheduled to begin on
Saturday, April 25, 2009.  There will be no access to the underground parking area until construction is completed on April 30, 2010.  Your reserved spaces will be moved to the parking lot in the NW corner of the property (see map).  Individual spaces will be marked the same as they currently are.  If you have any questions, please contact the OUHSC Parking Office at 271-2020.

What Are All These Red Squares?

As many of you have noticed, many of the parking spaces are now marked with blank red squares instead of the old green. The red color indicates and 'Open' parking space to be used be any patron possessing and displaying a valid red permit. The purpose of this change was to make the open parking spaces more easily visible as you enter the garage. We appreciate all of our patrons. It is our goal to make your usage of our campus' parking facilities as easy as possible.

Metro Transit Bus Passes
With the rising price of gas, we have had some questions about transportation from Norman and Edmond.  Metro Transit offers a Sooner Express route from Norman to the OUHSC Campus for $50 a month or $2.25 each way.  They also offer an Edmond Express route to the OUHSC Campus for the same fare.  Additional information on the Metro Transit routes may be found at www.gometro.org.   Stop by the Parking Office to purchase your Unlimited monthly bus pass for Oklahoma City at a cost of $40, or your Express monthly pass to Norman and Edmond for $50.
